ABSTRACT CONTEMPORARY FINE ART

White Study on Blue 20x20 ABSTRACT, what exactly is the definition of abstract in art? Good question, my favorite definition comes from "About.com": ABSTRACT, the creative process becomes the art itself. "The work of art becomes an event"(Harold Rosenberg). And for this reason it can be called "action art". I know when I create/paint I need to move around my canvas. From this movement shapes form. Stay tuned for more on the definition of Abstract Art. www.bsyatesart.com |
