A triptych journey,creating a large oil painting part 2

| To continue my journey painting my "Aspen Story" (c)2009; I blocked in color in my sections on my canvas. I like to paint the darkest focus, first. This is where the viewers eye perceives depth. I line up my first (middle) completed canvas next to my working canvas. I want these to be a continuous landscape. So on to painting my trees. A triptych journey, creating a large oil painting
This is the second of three canvas blocked in.
I usually use a base color in each section that can show through the finished painting.
i have found useing and shipping a very large canvas can be a challenge, so I love to use several.
This painting is continuous and painted in series.
These aspen trees are from the past Autumn,
they are so beautiful and always changing.
