this 8x10 into an original painting 36x48 for a client.

This was painted on location (out the back of my truck) on the
back roads near Taos NM.

The evenings are cooler and daylight is shorter,
here come the colors of autumn.
Soft opals, greys, lavender blues ,pale yellow and golds.
The sunsets change early as evening comes.
This is my favorite time of year to paint.

It is my abstracted image of my favorite aspen grove.
I paint in the grove every season and I am always amazed
at the ever changing beauty:)

Summerfest Evergreen, Colorado, Evergreen Players "HAIR"

This Sat and Sun 21 & 22 is Summerfest in
Evergreen, Co. Summerfest is part of "Arts Alive" this includes
all the arts in Evergreen.

Last night I went to see Evergreen Players production
of "HAIR", I was so impressed.
Non stop entertainment with an exceptional cast made "Hair"
memorable. I want to see it again>)

Crystalline Spring 30x40 SOLD

This past weekend I participated in the
Art Students League of Denver,
Summer Art Market.
It is a lot of work setting up on Friday before, in the tent all day (in the 95 heat).
I many great people and artists (a different kind of people).
I was happy to place quite a few of my paintings in new homes.
