Pink Roses on vintage wood I love to shop the "junk and funk" stores. I collect and use many items for my art. I found some really cool wood planks from the 1930's ( a farm tear down in Kansas). Some of them still had the original paint on them.(this has some yellow paint) The vintage wood has so much character and history I had to use them to create. I clean the wood and apply oil to rejuvenate the wood. I painted with oil and then sealed with a varnish. These will make a fun addition to any "shabby chic" collection. I will post these on my etsy store; www.etsy.com/shop/bsd1155 www.bsyatesart.com |
