An abstract/expressionistic approach to my Aspen series.

These were painted with layers of translucent color applied to the
canvas with a palette knife which create bold texture.

This beautiful 360 acre ranch is now part of Jefferson County Open Space.

Wonderful hiking trails and many places to paint. I lived on this property for 6yrs to help care take Mrs Blair.(more on this in future blogs)
